He was holding the sword with his left hand, Chad looked over at him as he walked over to the window and held it up in the moonlight. The once plain black sword turned sliver in the moonlight. You could start to see an etching of a dragon; it was the length of the sheath. Underneath it was Japanese writing that seemed to change as if it was talking. The hilt was unmoving

SpinningThe world spins once again.
It make me tired, so tired
Spinning around

The pain is there, no where else to go

Death why is it waiting
Opening arms to welcome it
It laughs at me, likes that it makes me wait

Mouth parts willingly

Lips barely touch
Head tilts slitty
Heat builds quickly

The spine, a row of ossified crowns
crowded and curved around that defining neural superhighway;
that extension cord,
adventurously connecting the visceral
